Croatia's Mesic meets BiH High Representative Lajcak

ZAGREB, Croatia -- President Stipe Mesic met on Sunday (July 20th) with Miroslav Lajcak, the high representative and EU special representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Mesic spokesperson Danijela Barisic announced after the closed-door meeting in the town of Savodrija that the two officials discussed the situation in BiH and warned of the danger posed by possible disintegration tendencies there. Barisic said Mesic and Lajcak agreed that the international community should renew its interest in BiH and that negotiations should resolve all open issues between Croatia and BiH.
