Albania's Berisha praises pending electoral reforms

TIRANA, Albania -- Prime Minister Sali Berisha said on Sunday (April 20th) that reforms undertaken to change the electoral system and the way the president is elected are of historical importance and will transform Albania into a western-based and progressive country. At a meeting of the ruling Democratic Party parliamentary group, Berisha stressed that the reforms are supported by the majority of lawmakers.
