Car bomb injures at least 16 in Izmir

ANKARA, Turkey -- At least 16 people, including seven police officers, suffered injuries from a car bombing in the western province of Izmir early Thursday (August 21st). A remote control activated the bomb, hidden in a parked car, as two buses carrying soldiers and police passed by. Police have cordoned off the area and are investigating the incident.
