Roadside bomb injures five soldiers in southeast Turkey

ANKARA, Turkey -- Five Turkish troops suffered injuries early Monday (August 18th) when a roadside bomb exploded near their vehicle in Sirnak province. Members of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) allegedly planted it. A large-scale military operation to detain the terrorists is ongoing in the region. (CNN Turk, AFP - 18/08/08)
