Russia protests attack on diplomats in Macedonia

SKOPJE, Macedonia -- Russia has sent a protest note to the Macedonian government over an incident in which four Russian diplomats were assaulted in a café in Skopje. According to unconfirmed reports, at least ten people attacked the Russians on Friday (October 27th). The diplomats were treated at hospital and released. Russia is demanding an investigation and charges. (EUObserver, Interfax - 30/10/06)
