BELGRADE, Serbia -- Serbian President Boris Tadic and Republika Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik inaugurated the Republika Srpska Park Monday (May 5th) in Belgrade. Tadic and Dodik said that the park symbolises the close friendship between Serbia and RS. Tadic noted that Serbia is one of the largest investors in RS, and said he is certain Bosnia and Herzegovina will follow Serbia and seal a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU shortly.
In other news Monday, former Kosovo Culture Minister Astrit Haraqija and ministry employee Bajrush Morina asked The Hague war crimes tribunal to grant them provisional release until the start of their trial. They are accused of interfering with a witness during the trial of Kosovo's former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
